Hospital Survey: Assessing the Transition to Pre-COVID Case Levels

May 20, 2020Here we are, May 20, a time when many businesses and organizations are either fully open, gradually moving toward that end, or are planning to soon be in full operation.  After all, we’re only a few days away from June—the traditional start of the summer holiday season.  This is not typically seen as a prime time for flus, colds or viruses.  Of course, this is no ordinary virus humanity has faced over the last few months.  COVID-19 has managed to morph into a multi-pronged threat to the human body, randomly attacking numerous anatomical systems and in disproportionate degrees.  At least that’s what we’re told.We have also been told that we are approaching 100,000 COVID deaths in the United States, but the sense is that—at least in some places—the threat of infection or illness is diminishing as we approach the warmer months.  This is why we are seeing people who have remained shuttered inside for several weeks beginning to emerge once more into the wider world.  This is why we are starting to see some businesses and even restaurants cautiously reopen their doors.  Given this trend, we cannot help but wonder what America’s hospitals are experiencing or planning in terms of a return to normalcy, assuming normalcy will ever again be achieved.

We at MiraMed Global Services are a national leader in healthcare solutions, with hospital clients throughout the United States.  As such, we have the ability to leverage technology and communications with our national client base to help us assess the current state of American hospitals.  Toward that end we would like to hear from you!  We have developed a survey that we hope you will take a few moments to complete.  The results will be compiled and released to you in the next few days.

Many hospital executives are just as curious as we are to get a feel for what other hospitals are going through, the planning they are undertaking, and where they are in the process of returning to pre-COVID caseloads.  Your input, through this survey, will be instrumental in allowing us all to make assessments for the betterment of our organizations.  With this in mind, we hope you will choose to participate in the survey by clicking on the link below.  Thank you in advance, and we look forward to sharing the results with you soon!
