Certain plastics can take can centuries or even a millennium to break down. That’s hundreds of years of polluting our oceans, filling landfills, affecting life! Undeniably, one of the worst things adding to the woes of our already suffering environment.

We would be doing nature a huge favor if we keep plastics out of the ecosystem by something as simple and significant as repurposing them! And MiraMed Ajubans got to the task and donned the roles of Captain Planet!

Finding new and innovative ways to work every last bit out of that old plastic, there were some incredible items on display.

Every imaginable product and then some beyond, came to life! From decorative showpieces, to kitchen gardens, water fountains, tables, chairs and even wearable slippers did the rounds. One of the teams even devised a working windmill model from waste plastic bottles.

Upcycled! Recycled! Repurposed! You name it, and it was done!
