India is considered the Diabetes Capital of the world and that is something we just cannot be proud of! An estimated 80 million people are affected by the disease and this number is expected to quadruple in the next decade.

We have a challenge to face and MiraMed Ajuba intends to promote Diabetes prevention, care and cure.

On World Diabetes Day, Diabetes Health Camps and Awareness Sessions we conducted across facilities for employees, for an entire week, to highlight the impact of Diabetes and campaign for its early detention and prevention. Experts Diabetologists from a leading hospital were invited to conduct the camp and sessions.

The real success of the event was the many cases of early detection of Diabetes, which would be otherwise gone unrecognized until a later stage. Many vowed to adopt a healthier lifestyle to combat this rising menace.

We, as a country, need to start taking control of Diabetes. It is our right to a healthy future.
