The highest reward for a man’s toil… Ajuba’s Gram Seva ’16

Each grain on your plate is a product of hours of labor, sweat, hard work and commitment. Each grain has a story to tell about the numerous hands that have tended to it at each stage. And now, those grains will also tell tales of the Ajuban hands that tended to them with at most love and care.

An enthusiastic bunch of youngsters, our Ajuba Brigade, set out on Gram Seva (village service) mission. Away from the hustle and bustle of city, far into a small village, helping farmers with fieldwork, getting on field sharing their load, spreading awareness among the villagers, educating them with entertainment, cooking on wood fire, befriending them, living their lives.

Ajuba facilitated this unique initiative to give our employees a remarkable experience while making them conscious of the efforts entailed in agriculture and lives lived beyond the city-scapes.

The Brigade came back rich! Rich by the experiences they have gained, the sights they saw, the people they met, the work they did, and the journey they embarked on. John Ruskin rightly pointed out, “The highest reward for man’s toil is not what he gets for it but what he becomes by it.”
