This Women’s day, nobody came in pink and we did not give flowers! Today’s woman is not just ‘Pretty in Pink’, she is ‘Proud in Purple’. So what we did do was focus on courage, dignity and parity. Each event, each activity focused on celebrating that Strength. And of course, we had fun while we were at it!

We showed empowerment a path and saw the celebrations take its course. We empowered our employees to speak and write their minds, we empowered them with self-defense classes, we empowered them by bringing to light accomplished women.

At the beginning of the day, we placed a blank canvas for our women employees to let the world know how awesome they were. Within minutes, the canvas bore the proud signatures of the strong women that Ajuba personifies. We also got some celebrities in the mix! Cardboard cut-outs of famous celebrities were available for employees to click some happy pictures. Sessions on Personal Hygiene, self-defence classes and exciting contests were conducted to add to the plethora of activities.

‘She Inspires’ was a series that was started to glorify women that have accomplished great things but haven’t seen the recognition. Our employees had a great time identifying them. The Slogan contest saw some great closet writers take the fore. The winners walked home gifts and great memories.
