We welcomed 2012 with the release of this year’s first edition of WONDERS – Ajuba’s in-house magazine! This edition of Wonders went through a jaw dropping creative make-over with a new eye-catching layout! This time we asked our beloved Ajubans why they love Ajuba and the response was simply spectacular. We featured it in this month’s exclusive article, “why I love Ajuba”.
Ajuba’s cultural event is known for its sheer awesomeness and this edition featured coverage on the culturals with colorful photographs that reminded us of the fun we had last year!
Ajubans opened the magazine and found a newspaper style layout. Yes, all of Ajuba’s news coverage had been creatively composed like a newspaper page in the section, “Ajuba in the news”. What also caught the eye of many was the surprise element in the last page – Ajuba’s 2012 calendar!
The importance of being a family was wonderfully brought out in the article, “family bonding” written by the Director of Human Resources, Ms. Hema Parikh. With excerpts from everyday incidences, this article touched the hearts of many!

The first edition, for the year 2011, of Ajuba's in-house magazine was released earlier this month. With a colorful palette of spring colors, the magazine records fun events held at Ajuba, sports competitions, a special section dedicated to women, news updates, businees developments and some exercises for the brain. Starting from interesting business news to fun elements, the magazine caters to everybody's interest in Ajuba.
This issue featured a special page called 'Ajuba is a great place to work because...' We asked the employees to share why they felt Ajuba is a great place to work. The entries were overwhelming, as employees said that Ajuba felt like their second home, that they felt valued by the company, that they were proud of the ethical practices at Ajuba and lot more. Most of them loved the fact that they had made great friends at work. In a survey conducted, the employees rated this page as the most liked.
Another interesting feature was 'Brag about your colleague' where we asked the employees to praise their peers' achievements and talents. It was a moment of pride for those who saw their names in the magazine.
With International Women's Day coming up, we featured 'The Invincible Woman,' Kiran Bedi. Known in India and around the world for her courage and strategies, she stands a perfect representation of today's woman.
Did you know that the Pyramids were actually paper white and as smooth as glass. Well, such fascinating facts were revealed to our employees through our 'Did you know' column.
Our employees loved the brain teasers column. While they set cracking on the sudoku, we also had them scramble for answers of the puzzles.
Here are some for you. Get cracking!
1. The Puzzle: What mathematical symbol can be put between 5 and 9, to get a number bigger than 5 and smaller than 9?
2. The Puzzle: An Arab sheikh tells his two sons to race their camels to a distant city to see who will inherit his fortune. The one whose camel is slower wins. After wandering aimlessly for days, the brothers ask a wise man for guidance. Upon receiving the advice, they jump on the camels and race to the city as fast as they can. What did the wise man say to them?
3. The Puzzle: What occurs once in every minute, twice in every moment, yet never in a thousand years?
